What is the Email QR Code Generator?
This email QR code generator builds a standard mailto: link and encodes it into a QR code. Scanning it with a phone camera opens the default mail app with your address, subject line, and message pre-filled — useful on a business card, event poster, or support desk sign — the sender still reviews and sends it themselves.

Common questions
Does scanning send an email automatically?
No — it only opens the recipient's mail app with everything pre-filled. They still have to review and tap send.
Which mail app opens when someone scans it?
Whatever the scanning phone has set as its default mail app — Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or similar.
Can I include multiple recipients?
Not directly through this tool — mailto links support one primary address; cc/bcc would need to be added manually after scanning.
Why use an email QR code instead of just printing the address?
It removes typos from someone typing your email address by hand, and it can pre-fill a subject line, so replies are already organized for you.
